What else affects your cost
Currency conversion
US shares are priced in US dollars. Token Africa plans to convert Liberian dollars at a published rate shown on screen before you confirm, so you always see the dollar amount being invested.
US dividend tax
Dividends from US companies paid to non-US investors are generally subject to a 30% US withholding tax, deducted before the money reaches you. General information, not tax advice.
Fund fees
ETFs charge a small ongoing fee inside the fund itself. That is set by the fund provider, not by Token Africa, and applies wherever you buy the fund.
What we do not charge
- No monthly or annual account fee
- No fee to open or close an account
- No inactivity fee
- No minimum balance requirement
- No fee to view prices, briefings or Academy lessons
Your mobile money provider or bank may charge separately for deposits and withdrawals. Any change to this schedule would be announced before it takes effect.
