Trust & Safety
Where Token Africa actually stands today.
Money deserves plain answers, not marketing. This page states our current regulatory position, how customer money and shares would be held, and what is still unfinished.
Current status: pre-launch
- Token Africa is not yet licensed by the Central Bank of Liberia. Regulatory engagement is active.
- No accounts can be opened, no money can be deposited, and no trading is available.
- An NDA is executed with a prospective US clearing and custody partner; due diligence is underway.
- All prices and portfolio screens shown on this site are simulated for illustration.
- Nothing on this site is an offer to invest or investment advice.
How money and shares would be held
Separate custody
The intended design is that shares and cash sit with a licensed US clearing and custody partner, segregated from Token Africa's own company money — so customer assets are never the company's to spend or pledge.
In your name
Holdings would be recorded against your individual account at the custodian, including fractional positions, with statements you can download.
Standard settlement
Buys and sells would settle under standard US market rules through the clearing partner, not on timings Token Africa sets by itself.
This describes the intended structure. Custody arrangements are not finalised, and the partner will be named once agreements are complete.

Risks you should weigh
Investing puts your money at risk. Share and fund values rise and fall, and you may get back less than you put in. Currency movements between Liberian dollars and US dollars can help or hurt you independently of how an investment performs. Past performance never predicts future results.
