1. Current regulatory status

Token Africa Liberia Inc. is registered in Monrovia, Liberia. Business registration is not a securities licence.

Token Africa’s application is under active consideration by the Central Bank of Liberia. The Bank has not issued an authorisation. Token Africa will not accept client funds or provide live investment services in Liberia unless the required authorisation and operating arrangements are in place.

2. What is available now

Members can use education, market information and Practice Mode. Practice Mode uses practice dollars and simulated orders. It does not create a live investment account, accept a deposit, transfer real money or give a member legal ownership of securities.

3. Intended clearing and custody model

At launch, subject to agreement, client assets are intended to be held by a United States registered clearing partner in accounts separated from Token Africa’s operating funds.

Token Africa has executed a non-disclosure agreement with a FINRA and SIPC-registered US correspondent clearing firm as a formal precursor to a clearing and custody partnership agreement. Due diligence is underway, but no clearing agreement is currently in place.

4. SIPC and asset protection

If the final arrangement qualifies, eligible assets at a SIPC-member broker-dealer may receive SIPC protection within applicable limits if that broker-dealer fails. SIPC does not protect against a decline in investment value. No current Token Africa Practice Mode balance or simulated holding is SIPC-protected because it is not real money or a real security.

5. Identity and eligibility checks

We collect profile information to prepare the platform, protect accounts and understand future eligibility. Before any live service, members should expect identity, age, residence, sanctions and other checks required by law or by regulated partners. Providing information during pre-launch does not guarantee approval for a future live account.

6. Financial-crime controls

Our intended controls include customer identification, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, fraud review, source-of-funds checks where required, staff access controls, recordkeeping and escalation of suspicious activity. Controls will be calibrated to applicable law and partner requirements before launch.

7. Data protection and security

We limit access to member information, use encryption and maintain account-security controls. Personal details collected by Token Africa are not sent to the market-data sandbox; synthetic test identities are used there. Read the Privacy Policy for what we collect and how to exercise your rights.

8. Questions and complaints

Send account, conduct or complaint matters to support@tokenafrica.io. We record, investigate and respond to complaints. Any external escalation rights applying to a future live service will be published when the authorisation and service structure are final.

9. Updates to this status

Regulatory status, partners and launch readiness can change. We will update this page when a material milestone is complete. “Planned,” “intended,” “targeted,” “under consideration” and “subject to agreement” do not mean approved, guaranteed or available.
